Growing up as a country girl from Illinois, I received my B.S. and M.S. degrees in Agronomy and worked for over 10 years in agricultural research.  After several years, I experienced chemical sensitivities and increasing respiratory problems.  One day a friend introduced me to an herbal remedy that helped my allergies.  It didn’t take long before I started to feel better, and then I was “hooked”.  I loved working with plants so I dived into every book and class that I could find involving natural health.  I was interested in everything and couldn’t learn fast enough.  Before long I was feeling better than I had in a long time and I knew I had found my passion in life.  I chose to become a Traditional Naturopath, a teacher of Nature Cure.

Today I continue to work on my own health while sharing my knowledge of Nutrition, Homeopathics, Essential Oils, Herbs, Flower Essences and Organic Gardening.  I am known as the local "Dr. Mom" and have found my true love in bringing plants together with people.  It is what connects us to the earth, heals the body, the spirit, the mind and the soul, and brings us closer to God and our true nature.
